Using Cache

Cache is a personal finance organization tool. It helps you record and understand information you choose to add, such as accounts, transactions, budgets, and plans. Cache does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice.

You must be old enough to form a binding agreement where you live and use the Service lawfully. Keep your account credentials and passcode private, and tell us promptly if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.

Early access and availability

Cache may be offered on an invite-only or early-access basis. Features can change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn while we improve the Service. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that affect a paid subscription.

You are responsible for reviewing the information in Cache before relying on it. Forecasts, reminders, exchange rates, and AI-generated responses may be incomplete or wrong and should not be your only basis for a financial decision.

Your data and your responsibilities

You retain your rights in the information you add to Cache. You give us the limited permission needed to host, encrypt, synchronize, process, and display that information to provide and protect the Service.

Do not use Cache to upload unlawful material, interfere with the Service, attempt to bypass security controls, reverse engineer the Service where prohibited by law, or infringe another person’s rights.

No bank connection

Cache does not ask for, store, or connect to your bank credentials. You remain responsible for entering and checking financial information yourself.

AI and receipt features

Some features, such as the assistant and receipt scanning, process information server-side only when you choose to use them. Do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing for that purpose. AI outputs are provided for convenience and may contain errors.

Subscriptions and payments

Some Cache features may require a paid plan. Pricing, trial terms, renewal terms, and payment details will be shown before you subscribe. Purchases may be handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play, Paddle, RevenueCat, or another disclosed payment provider. Their terms may also apply to your purchase.

You may cancel according to the terms shown at purchase. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or a stated refund policy.

Suspension and termination

You can stop using Cache and request deletion of your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, create a security risk, or where we are required to do so by law.

We may retain limited information when necessary to meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce these terms. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.

Disclaimers and limits

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Cache does not guarantee that the Service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, Cache is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for financial decisions made using the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as Cache evolves. If the changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Madagascar, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
